Heimtextil Offers Programs Which Offers in-Depth Information on Current Market Development

Many of the more than 2,700 international exhibitors at Heimtextil, which runs from January 14-17, 2015, will have textile interior product ranges, also called contract furnishings, available, specifically for hotels.

To further promote the contract business, Heimtextil offers programs, namely, a series of lectures, guided tours, special shows, competitions and a "Contract Guide", which offers in-depth information on current market developments.

More than 300 exhibitors will showcase products and general interior design solutions for contract furnishings.

“They are all listed in the "Contract Guide" – an index of exhibitors which is available, free of charge, at the exhibition centre,” Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Heimtextil, inform.

"This means that Heimtextil is now well established as a crucial global forum for the hotel and architecture sectors," says Olaf Schmidt, VP - Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt.

Heimtextil will highlight on hospitality via a ‘Theme Park’ in Hall 4, which will have future themes relevant to the sector and focuses attention on design-oriented and up-to-the-minute issues.

In addition, Heimtextil, in partnership with trade journals, AIT and xia, will present a series of lectures for architects and interior architects with the title ‘Radical Living’.

Messe informs that the program brings together eight individualistic positions that reveal a contemporary approach to architecture and which explores new spaces in experimental ways.

Well-known architects from Amsterdam, Barcelona, Tokyo and Vienna will focus on trend-setting projects and talks will given by experts together with panel discussions in both German and English.

Working closely with the German Hotel Association, Heimtextil will host another series of lectures, which is geared towards hotel managers.

In cooperation with the trade journal HotelDesign/AHGZ, Heimtextil is inviting decision-makers from the hotel industry on a tour of the trade fair.

Through this tour, which will be held on January 15, participants will be able to gain an overview of furnishing trends in the hotel and contract business.

In another guided tour of the trade fair, editors from the trade journal AIT will present the most interesting product innovations for the contract sector from an architect's point of view.

To be also conducted on January 15, this tour will stop by at stands of both well-known manufacturers and newcomers to Heimtextil.

Budding designers and interior architects will be providing inspiration in the 'Young Talents' area, called "Campus", in Hall 4.2, where visitors will be able to see visionary furnishing concepts.

In addition, the design schools are inviting interested trade visitors to workshops on the subject of "Hotel Europe".
