Aplix Introduces New Sensory Closure for Small Bags

Hook and loop fastening system specialist Aplix has introduced a new sensory closure for small bags.

The new 16mm Easy-Lock Touch closure has been designed to improve the functionality of package, enabling to provide enhanced experience to the consumer.

It is developed by using food-grade and heat-sealable polyethylene material.

Hooks will involve in multiple levels that will make the closure to open and reclose easily.

Compared to other systems, the sensory closure does not require precise alignment for sealing. Its resistance enables to keep particulates fresh that are locked in the bag.

The new sensory closure offers reclose options to multiple markets, including cereal, cheese, coffee, confectionary, dried fruit, snacks and other packaged goods.

Aplix global sales and marketing vice president Quresh Sachee said: “The new closure reinforces our commitment to the flexible packaging market.

“We listened carefully to the needs of our customers and consumers to develop this new closure which addresses the emerging market for smaller pouches.”

Aplix, which provides a range of reclose products for flexible packaging, also produce Easy-Lock Touch+ closure for heavy bags.

The 26mm Easy-Lock Touch+ is suitable for large opening bags with or without gussets., and can be used for markets such as petfood, detergents, fertilizers, and bulk products.

Aplix provides products and services to different markets, including aircraft, automotive, cleaning, hygiene, medical, building, packaging and other specialized industries.
