In cooperation with Polish cities, the Warsaw-based radio station Radio ESKA organised a live concert tour called Letnia Scena ESKI (Summer Stage of ESKA) featuring a wide range of national and international talent. In 2012, in the course of a tour lasting several months, ESKA visited 15 Polish cities bringing acts such as Feel, Blue Cafe, Kayah, Piasek, Lzy, Afromental, Robert M., the DJs of Wet Fingers and the French duet The Nycer and Eddy Wata to a wider public. With thousands attending in every city visited, the recently concluded tour was an undoubted success.
The production company responsible, Promotor United Entertainment (ZPR), delegated its technical implementation to the Polish rental company Magtex - Technika Sceniczna, while Dynacord partner Tommex Zebrowscy Sp. J. stood by to offer technical support to Magtex. In view of the diverse requirements of the 15 venues concerned, it was essential that the sound reinforcement system be modular in construction and sufficiently versatile to adapt to the demands of each situation.
For this reason, after careful comparison of competing systems and exhaustive tests, Magtex's decision-makers opted for a powerful Cobra system from Dynaord, comprising six Cobra-4 Far elements, 12 Cobra-4 Tops and 24 Cobra-PWH bass units for selected venues of the tour. Front-fill was provided by two VL 152 cabinets and the system was driven by 12 LX 3000 power amplifiers. Two digital DSP 600 sound system processors equipped with FIR filters assumed via IRIS-Net the control and supervision of all loudspeakers, using processor presets designed to optimize the medium and high frequency ranges.
