British multinational grocery Tesco has launched Soil&Seed,an organic veg box brand owned by veg supplier Tio.
The product will offer a choice of five boxes-small,medium and large veg and salad boxes,along with a fruit box and a mixed fruit,veg and salad box,reported the Food&Drink Innovation Network.
The products will be Soil Association certified organic.They will be launched in the first week of November in the London area.
This is not the first time Tesco has introduced organic veg boxes.In 2006,the company offered veg boxes in a limited number of stores as part of a regional trial.
Tesco has stores in 14 countries across Asia,Europe and North America,Malaysia,the Republic of Ireland and Thailand.
