CSC Reported That Its Operating Revenue in 2012 Was Registered at Nt$207.19 Billion

Taiwanese largest steelmaker, China Steel Corp. (CSC) reported that its operating revenue in 2012 was registered at NT$207.19 billion, while net income reached NT$5.81 billion.

CSC announced that it will start renewing its blast furnace No.1 in the current month, added that it plans to invest about NT$1.3 billion for the works that are expected to be completed in June 2015.

Meanwhile, CSC will spend about NT$2.18 billion to install quenching equipment for its plate mill. The project will also begin this month and is scheduled to be finished by August 2015.

It is estimated that the new equipment will help increase CSC's annual capacity of quenched plate production by 1,700 tons at the project completion.
