The New 3.3 Borosilicate Glass Bottles Are Suitable for a Range of Uses

Schott North America has announced the availability of the latest size of its DURAN Laboratory Bottles, of 10ml.

According to the US-based company, the new 3.3 borosilicate glass bottles are suitable for a range of uses, from storage through packaging and feature chemical resistance through the full temperature range.

Claimed to be suitable for proteins, RNA/DNA, isolates and intermediates, the bottles have a low leachable/extractable profile.

The inherent purity and performance of the 3.3 type 1 neutral glass is said to be the better choice for biologics, pharmaceutical and diagnostic reagents.

The autoclavable laboratory bottles, which are available in clear or amber, with a GL 25 thread and also with Laboratory Protect coating, are in compliance with USP, EP and JP for type 1 neutral glass standards.
