Avery Dennison will launch a new forest recycled paper facestock range to help brand owners meet their sustainability goals.
The US-based adhesive manufacturing company says that label printers and converters by using the recycled paper range certified by Stewardship Council can stand out from the competition and increase their value in the supply chain.
The latest solution from Avery Dennison is claimed to be 100% recycled paper facestock. It has been produced without chlorine bleaching and yet when compared to its non-recycled counterparts, it delivers similar whiteness, bright looks and opacity.
Avery Dennison says that it had carefully picked post-consumer waste (PCW) streams to make sure the resulting FSC-certified facestock has good material properties for high-quality, pressure-sensitive labeling.
The facestock is claimed to give outstanding print quality and conversion speed. According to its manufacturer, the 100% recycled PCW material is made up of 30% recycled liner, and aids brand owners and converters to close the loop at no extra cost.
Along with the new facestock range, Avery Dennison also highlighted the ClearIntent portfolio during Labelexpo Europe. The ClearIntent range helps converters and brand owners in their pursuit to attain sustainable packaging goals, stated the company.
