Drytac to Debut New Protac Anti-Bacterial Film at Sign & Digital UK 2017

Drytac Europe, an international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, has announced its plans to participate in Sign & Digital UK event, scheduled to take place at NEC Birmingham, UK, between 28th and 30th March 2017.

The company will be showcasing a wide variety of its solutions on exclusive UK distributor Antalis’s stand (C20) throughout the three-day show.

New Protac Anti-Bacterial

Making its European debut at the show will be Drytac’s new Protac Anti-Bacterial film. This 150µ (6 mil) textured polyester laminating film has a durable anti-bacterial additive which offers reliable protection from mold growth and bacterial contamination such as MRSA, Streptococcus, E.coli, Salmonella, and more. The reverse side is coated with a pressure sensitive, solvent acrylic adhesive, protected with a siliconized polyester release liner.

Protac Anti-Bacterial laminating film is ideal for use in environments where hygiene is of particular importance, such as schools, nurseries, restaurants/cafeterias, and hospitals. Its textured finish gives it good resistance to abrasions, making it also useful for exhibitions and POP displays, while its clarity ensures that no colors are diminished. It is resistant to chemicals and many common household cleaners, allowing for ease of cleaning in all applications.

As well as launching Protac Anti-Bacterial at Sign & Digital UK, Drytac will be focusing on its range of ReTac, SpotOn and ViziPrint films. The company will also be showcasing floor graphics created with FloorTac and protected by Protac ScuffGuard film on Antalis’s stand.

ReTac Textures

Drytac will be showcasing its ReTac Textures 150µ (6 mil) printable, matte white polymeric PVC film with ReTac ultra-removable adhesive. It comes in two embossed finishes – Linen and Canvas – which add depth and visual appeal to static, flat graphics.

Ideal for custom wall murals, interior décor, retail displays, trade show graphics, textured labels and more, ReTac Textures is flame resistant and compatible with (eco) solvent, UV and latex printing technologies.

SpotOn

The company will also be highlighting its SpotOn film at the show. Suitable for short-term indoor applications, SpotOn is a high quality, ink receptive printable vinyl, developed specifically for vibrant, high print quality graphics that require easy application. The dot pattern of the adhesive allows the film to be easily applied bubble free on most flat surfaces.

The 100μ (4 mil) monomeric PVC film is printable by (eco) solvent, UV and latex printing technologies and is available in clear matte, white matte and white gloss versions.

ViziPrint Illuminate

ViziPrint Illuminate will also feature on the Antalis stand. This 100µ (4 mil) translucent matte PET film has been developed for brilliant backlit window graphics and vibrant backlit displays for high-end retail advertising. It is suitable for both indoor and short-term outdoor applications.

With its advanced adhesion technology, ViziPrint Illuminate can be repositioned and reapplied multiple times upon installation and leaves no residue following removal. It is also very durable and does not require over-lamination.

It is reverse printable, allowing window advertisements to be viewed during the day in direct sunlight and at night when illuminated by store lighting.

FloorTac

Drytac’s FloorTac film will also be demonstrated on stand. FloorTac is a 100μ (4 mil) white monomeric soft PVC film coated on one side with a pressure sensitive high tack aqueous acrylic adhesive.

Available in various sizes, it is printable by (eco) solvent, UV and latex printing technologies and is suitable for use on ceramic tiles, commercial PVC flooring, sealed wood, sealed concrete, marble and more.

FloorTac has been developed specifically for floor graphic printing and is suitable for all reasonable mid to heavy foot traffic areas. When used in conjunction with Drytac’s Interlam Pro Emerytex or Protac ScuffGuard protection laminate it has enhanced durability and/or anti-slip ratings.

Steve Broad, Sales Director for Drytac Europe, comments: “We’re very much looking forward to supporting Antalis at Sign & Digital UK 2017. Drytac representatives will be present on the Antalis booth throughout the show and will be able to answer any specific queries relating to Drytac products.”
