Perkinelmer Has Launched a Panel of Nine New Epigenetic Research Assay Kits

PerkinElmer has launched a panel of nine new epigenetic research assay kits to trace endogenous histone modifications at the Revolutionaries for Global Health Summit (RGH), San Francisco, US.

Hosted by PerkinElmer, RGH Summit shares research and promotes collaboration among researchers and practitioners as they deploy disruptive technologies and approaches to support research to prevent, detect, and treat disease.

PerkinElmer life sciences and technology president Kevin Hrusovsky said PerkinElmer provides a forum for change in research and healthcare.

"Through our Revolutionaries for Global Health Summits that are held across the globe, we are facilitating a cross-functional effort to advance research by bringing together leaders in academia, government and commercial enterprise, in the hopes of one day eradicating cancer and other diseases,'' Hrusovsky added.

The new reagents based on alpha technology are the only homogenous cellular assays for endogeneous histone modification research, according to the company.

The new epigenetics panel will also complement a portfolio of both cellular and biochemical assays.

PerkinElmer also introduced several new products at the RGH event, which include Spotfire, enhancements to ChemBioOffice and JANUS Laboratory automation workstations.
