Introducing Stage One – a premier compact fashion platform that will host India’s Emerging Talent. Throughout the five days of fashion week, this premier platform will host shows, fashion workshops, seminars, launches and much more.
With the growing popularity and success of Lakmé Fashion Week, the introduction of Stage One only seemed appropriate at this season of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014. Stage One is a show area adjacent to the Main Show Area. It is a flexible space to allow all fashion formats and will be a Hub for Street Style at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014.
This season received 242 entries for the Emerging, Accessory and Stage One categories, registering a whopping growth of 46% which further consolidates the launch of this unique platform.
A fresh team of LFW Advisory Board Members shortlisted young and talented designers for various categories, on the basis of the quality creations, innovation, marketability, originality and ability to legitimately take their business to the next level.
These boundaries are set by the esteemed Advisory Board panelists who aim to identify the finest talent through their unique expertise and holistic perspectives that will drive the business of fashion.
