LG Electronics Inc. And Krauss Maffei AG have agreed to work together on technological developments in plastics processing for electronics devices. The deal was signed at a ceremony in Munich where LG also ordered additional injection molding machines from Krauss Maffei's MX series. The machines will be installed in the development department of the company’s mold technology center, currently under construction in Pyeongtaek-si, Korea. “We're delighted to announce this cooperation with LG Electronics. It shows that our partner recognizes our engineering know-how in injection and reaction molding, ” said Frank Peters, divisional manager at Munich-based KraussMaffei Technologies.
