Matho System Has Been Installed by Ajanta Packaging

India-based label printer Ajanta Packaging has installed a Matho waste management system at its plant in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The company aims to manage the process waste in manufacturing self adhesive labels with the installation of Matho, reports packagingeurope.com.

The main part of it is the Cuttopipe, a cutting unit that can be combined with a lubrication unit suitable to handle self-adhesive material.

Besides the environmental benefits, the company has seen an increase in productivity and a cleaner environment in the unit.

Ajanta, which aims for a nonstop production said normally converting had to be interrupted regularly to handle accumulating waste.

Ajanta Packaging makes self-adhesive labels using a variety of printing processes in combination with cold and hot foil stamping. Inputs include paper, polyethylene, polyester, metalised stock and silicon coated release liners.
