The multiple faces of the all-new BMW X5 have been revealed in an official brochure for the luxury German SUV.
The scanned pages were published by BMW Blog just hours after the unveiling of the larger, more versatile and more fuel-efficient third-generation X5.
The two BMW X5 SUVs featured in the image gallery accompanying yesterday's press release both wore the Design Pure Experience styling theme (above), while today's brochure shots uncover three additional unique looks.
The Design Pure Excellence theme (above) has a luxury emphasis. A basic front bumper with louvers in the lower central opening and T-shaped bars in the outer intakes creates a more understated front end. Black kidney grille bars, body-colour wheel arches and underbody protectors, and 19-inch V-spoke alloy wheels add to the sophisticated look.
The M Sport package (above) has a driver-oriented performance theme. The exterior sports an M aerodynamics bodykit with aggressive front intakes, high-gloss roof rails, and 19-inch M double-spoke alloys. The cabin gains an M sports steering wheel with paddleshifters, sports seats, aluminium hexagonal trim, anthracite headliner, and M footrest and doorsills.
The tripe-turbo BMW X5 M50d (above) is further distinguished from the M Sport pack by its unique 19-inch M alloys, black exhaust outlets and M badging.
Full specifications of the new BMW X5 range will be revealed at its Frankfurt motor show debut in September.
The third-gen X5 will go on sale in Australia during the final quarter of 2013.
