PremièRe Vision New York Returns at New York's Pier 92 From January 13, 2015

Première Vision New York returns at New York’s Pier 92 from January 13, 2015 and will have 297 exhibitors, up 14 per cent over the January 2014 edition.

According to the organisers, the show is back with an even stronger offer in its three sections; fashion fabrics, accessories and textile & surface designs.

The accessories section has gained momentum his season with 28 companies exhibiting as against 14 in January 2014 and 24 in July 2014.

The trimmings area at the entrance to the show brings together makers of buttons, buckles, metallic and plastic trims, embroidery and lace, labels, zippers and jewelry components.

118 exhibiting companies make up for the fashion fabric section and are offering this time a wide range of collections covering every need of the women’s and men’s markets.

The products on display include; embroideries, lace, suitings, silkies, woolens, knits, colour-wovens, and technical fabrics.

13 newcomers to the fabrics section include Italian knits producer Carvico, Japanese company Hokkoh, French lace specialist, Ets Lucien Noyon & Cie, and Ricamificio Lusi with its renowned embroidery collection.

The section of show dedicated to textile and surface designs has 151 exhibitors, also up 10 per cent over January 2014.

“Emerging and top designers and major fashion-brand buyers all have a chance to see what top international studios are creating for this new season,” the organisers inform.

Special conferences around forward-looking themes are expected to provide a more overall approach to the fashion market.

Following last July’s successful discussion on ‘Responsible creation – issues and values for fashion’, the theme this edition will be ‘Technology and how it will serve the fashion world in the future’. (AR)
