The Working-Day Adjusted Turnover in The German Manufacturing Industry up 1%

In July this year, the seasonally and working-day adjusted turnover in the German manufacturing industry increased by one percent compared to June, according to the preliminary data reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). The working day adjusted turnover in the German manufacturing sector in July this year increased by four percent compared to July 2013. Meanwhile, in the first seven months of this year, the turnover in the German manufacturing industry increased by 3.5 percent on year-on-year basis.

In July of the current year, the turnover of German metal and metal product manufacturing remained stable compared to June, with domestic sales decreasing by 0.2 percent and foreign sales up by 0.3 percent, month on month. In July, an increase of 1.6 percent was recorded in the turnover in manufacture of fabricated metal products in Germany, with domestic sales increasing by 2.1 percent and foreign sales up by 0.5 percent, both compared to the previous month.
