Private equity firm CBPE Capital has acquired the glass bottles and containers manufacture Allied Glass Containers from Equistone Partners for an undisclosed sum.
The transaction is expected to support CBPE's business with international customer base and fit its management team in the growing market.
Allied CEO Alan Henderson said the company is delighted to have the opportunity of working with CBPE.
"We have known them for many years and we are very confident they are the right partner for us as we enter the next phase of our development," Henderson added.
Allied performs design and prototyping work to help customers with the product redesigns and new product launches.
The business has experienced growth led by the strong international demand for products including Scotch whisky, while the company manufactures bottles various premium whiskies.
