Kulshan Brewing Introduces Two Beers in Rexam Cans

US-based Kulshan Brewing has introduced its Bastard Kat IPA and Full 90 Session Ale in Rexam 12oz. cans.

Bastard Kat is an American style West Coast IPA that features citrus notes of the Cascade Hop, while Full 90 Session Ale has crisp, herbal and light citrus German Perle hops balanced with Vienna malt.

Kulshan has selected Rexam's aluminum cans as they can block out all light and oxygen, which preserves the beer's taste and freshness longer.

They are claimed to be durable and portable, and are allowed at parks, lakes and other outdoor locations where glass is not permitted.

Recently, Kulshan has also opened its second brewery in Bellingham with a 30-barrel brewhouse.

Kulshan Brewing owner David Vitt said: "We are extremely proud of our new location and the fact that it gives us the ability to offer some of our great-tasting beers in cans.

"Working with Rexam we have the perfect package that will allow our customers to take our brews with them camping, hiking or wherever they go."

Rexam BCNA sales and marketing vice president Joanna Novak said: "Our cans will allow the brewery to expand its reach. And the outstanding value this package delivers will help Kulshan continue to build its brand throughout the Northwest and beyond."

The brewery's products in Rexam cans are available at select retailers in Washington.

Claimed to be one of the fastest-growing breweries in Whatcom County, Kulshan Brewing also produces Red Cap Irish Red Ale, Transporter Porter and Good Ol' Boy Pale Ale, as well as seasonal, specialty and limited-release beers.
