The 24th CPM to Showcase Some 1,400 Apparel Collections From Over 30 Countries

The upcoming 24th edition of the Eastern European trade event Collection Première Moscow (CPM) will showcase some 1,400 apparel collections from over 30 countries.

Slated to take place from February 24 to 27, 2015, the fair, which will be organized in a sprawling exhibition space of about 50,000 square metres, will be divided into different clothing segments including kidswear, lingerie and beachwear.

The CPM Kids segment will introduce a new Designerpool project to promote young talents in the childrenswear industry. Designer Luba Krhamova from Kazan (Russia) will present her new collection for the first time.

Christian Kasch, the Project Director of Designerpool, says, “We are particularly proud to promote children’s fashion designers because the CPM Kids area was the first segment we added to our trade fair. We are currently looking at other collections to give young designers the opportunity of a trade fair appearance. At the same time, we are capitalising on this to bring new labels to the market.”

The four-day-long Russian event’s other segments like Moscow Mode Lingerie and Swim, which will be hosted by the French trade fair organiser Eurovet this time, will also include some new layouts and trend decorations.

The other primary segments include CPM Premium (which will highlight jacquard, silk and exclusive wool designs by the event’s established exhibitors as well as some new international and Russian entrants) and Fashion and Denim (which would display casual jeans and active wear pieces).

Also a CPM Accessories segment, which will witness accessories from internationally renowned brands and newcomer labels, will be introduced at the forthcoming instalment of CPM.

Apart from runway shows by designer Ksenia Chilingarova, Steilmann, UNQ and the British Higher School of Art and Design students, information exchange sessions, lecture and seminar series, Russian Fashion Retail Forum and the Lingerie Market Forum will also be conducted on the sidelines of the fair.
