Qhotels Has Signed up to Reduce Food and Associated Packaging Waste Throughout The Country

Hotel chain in the UK, QHotels has signed up to Waste & Resources Action Programme’s (WRAP) Hospitality and Food Service agreement in a bid to reduce food and associated packaging waste throughout the country.

As part of the agreement, the parties will collaborate to speed up the practice that has already been introduced through performance change, conference-news.co.uk reported.

WRAP CEO Liz Goodwin commenting on the announcement said: "One of the big challenges the Hospitality and Food Service sector currently faces, as identified by WRAP's research, is tackling the vast amount of food and packaging waste it produces and currently disposes of to landfill each year."

Each hotel in the collection will be provided by WRAP with the required support to meet its business objectives.

QHotels will continue to invest into its 21 hotels to help improve its customers' experience and is expected to grow further and remain a sustainable business, going forward.
