Construction of the 557,000 ft2 facility is scheduled to commence in near future and be completed by early 2016.

The factory will be built on approximately 30.77 acres of land at the intersection of Rio Nogales Drive and Eighth Street, with a potential investment of $85m and creation of close to 75 jobs in phase I, reports Ksat.

Seguin Economic Development president Robert Haynes said: "The addition of Niagara Bottling, LLC to Seguin's growing manufacturing industry will not only add millions in capital investment to the local economy, create new jobs, generate new tax revenues but in addition it will also add a family owned company that invests in the communities it partners with."

Family-owned Niagara Bottling produces single-serve, private label bottled water for its US customers. The company owns 19 manufacturing plants and supports both the domestic and international market.

The project will be backed by local incentive package which include five year partial property tax abatement from Guadalupe County as well as a $985,900 land grant incentive from the Seguin Economic Development.

The city, county and school district would receive over $6m in new property tax revenue, net of the tax abatement, over the five-year period.
