Vivascope 1500 Multilaser System Is Introduced by Caliber I. D.

US-based Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics (Caliber I.D.) has introduced the VivaScope 1500 multilaser system, which is suitable for a wide range of skin research applications for the evaluation of personal care products, pharmaceuticals and in animal research.

The new multilaser system has three lasers of different wavelengths that can be used in fluorescence-mode imaging for enhancing the image contrast.

The VivaScope 1500 multilaser system allows researchers to study changes at the cellular level in living skin through noninvasive optical skin biopsy, while not damaging the tissue.

The noninvasive VivaScope 1500 multilaser system tracks the changes in living skin at the cellular level and changes can be monitored over time without damage to the tissue.

Caliber I.D. CEO L. Michael Hone noted the VivaScope 1500 Multilaser system gives researchers a powerful new tool for performing cellular level analysis painlessly and noninvasively.

"The inclusion of lasers at three different wavelengths within a single system offers an unprecedented level of flexibility to researchers studying a variety of products, drugs and diseases.

"We believe this is an extremely important addition to our existing range of VivaScope devices," Hone added.
