Pinstripe Has Won Framework Agreement Contract with Dudley Council

Birmingham-based Pinstripe Print Group has announced that it has successfully won part of a significant three-year print services contract Framework agreement contract with Dudley Council.

The Framework agreement Tender contract win comes soon after Pinstripe confirmed that it had become the first wholly sheet fed B2 printer in the UK and the Midlands to become certified to the new colour quality management scheme, BPIF ISO 12647-2.

The Framework Tender contract will see Pinstripe provide Dudley Council with a full colour print outsourcing service, covering the areas of brochures, booklets, newsletters, folders, magazines, postcards, leaflets, manuals, flyers and calendars.

Commenting on the successful win, Pinstripe Print Group Managing Director, Nigel Lyon, stated, "This is another great win for us and proves our ability to meet the exacting standards required to work with Councils, Universities and top quality businesses. According to Dudley Council, Pinstripe, "Demonstrated a good understanding of Dudley Council's service requirements, and is able to produce all required print work in-house without the support of sub-contractors". "All samples received were to the required quality and standard expected, and the technical support offered was considered beneficial to the Council and operational flexibility was considered advantageous."

In addition to this latest Framework agreement Tender contract win, Pinstripe also works under a further 14 Framework Agreements and several Preferred Supplier Agreements.? These include a number of other major councils, including Birmingham City Council, and Coventry and Solihull Council's amongst others.

Pinstripe also became the first print group in the West Midlands last year to become a certified Carbon Balanced printer with The World Land Trust (certificate no: 140JTPI213), through paper merchant group, PaperlinX.

This latest announcement also follows the successful completion of a significant £900,000 investment programme in 2012/13.
