Beumer Introduces New Bag-in-Bag Packaging System

Beumer has introduced new bag-in-bag system, which will rapidly pack filled paper bags individually or in groups with a weather-resistant plastic film.

The system enables to protect the contents against moisture, dust, insects and other environmental influences during storage and transport.

Beumer bag-in-bag system will be easily incorporated into existing filling and packaging systems.

The impermeable film, which retains dust from escaping from the filled bags, has a thicknesses between 30μ and 100μ.

Provided in cooperation with Tentoma, the new bag-in-bag system can be used for goods with lengths of up to 8m and product circumferences between 600mm and 5,600mm.

Beumer system is also suitable for bar stock, insulation materials or consumer goods. User can incorporate the system into their work processes by deploying it in existing feeding line.

The system will compliment the Beumer fillpac inline packer and paletpac high-performance palletiser.

Beumer bag-in-bag system has been developed for inline packers,a nd holds capacity to produce 800 bags per hour.

The flexible system can be configured for three different applications, including semiautomatic insular solution, fully automatic depalletising, packaging and palletising line or an integrated solution in which machines can be switched on individually.

In addition, the system can be modified as per the specific customer requirements.

In July, Beumer announced a new film that can be easily opened without using any tools. The Beumer stretch hood A stretch film packaging system can be used in several industries.

It is now being offered with a newly developed easy opening hood, which will enable employees in retail stores and logistics centres to quickly remove the film while unpacking or repacking the goods.
