Rawligion Launches Milk Drink Containing Hemp Extract in UK

London-based organic food brand Rawligion has launched a milk drink featuring hemp extract.

Dubbed Relax, by Rawligion, the drink features cashews, dates, coconut oil, vanilla, water, hemp seeds and CBD oil.

Key ingredient of Relax is the CBD oil, supplied to Rawligion by LoveHemp, a purveyor of CBD oils in the UK.

LoveHemp co-founder Tony Calmita said: “You only have to look at the US and Canada to see the future potential of hemp extract.

“CBD is fast gaining mainstream acceptance with a growing understanding of the wide ranging benefits to health and wellbeing. We’ve had an influx of enquiries from businesses like Rawligion who are looking to capitalise on this trend as it takes off in the UK.”

According to the CBD product supplier, the oils can be bought in various strengths through liquid drops or atomiser sprays. They can be taken directly or blended with food and drink.

LoveHemp has said that consumption of CBD oil has been found to ease anxiety symptoms besides having several health benefits.

A neurologist professor named Mike Barnes said: “The amount of research showing the effects that CBD can have to reduce anxiety is growing day by day.  Anxiety is an issue that affects millions of people every day, and CBD can have a real, positive impact on their lives.”

LoveHemp has claimed that tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive ingredient in Cannabis, is safely removed through its methods of CBD oil processing and extraction from the cannabis plant.

The CBD oil company is looking for new partnerships with other companies in the food, beverage and retail segments.
