As an emerging high-tech industry in international market, digital textile printing promises extensive applications

According to a forecast by PIRA between 2014 and 2015, global digital printing output is expected to reach 10 per cent of total textile printing output and the installation base for digital printing equipment will hit 50,000 machines.

Exhibitors in the zone include Epson, Zimmer, Mimaki, Homer, Printpretti, MS Printing, Kornit Digital, Fujifilm, Reggiani, Toshin, Pirovano, Stork, Honghua, Human, Textalk, Jinhengfeng, Runtianzhi, etc.

ShanghaiTex 2015 will also collaborate with DTS and organise ‘Digital Printing Forum’ to highlight the latest development trend in digital printing, solve dilemmas and investigate on how to optimise production capacity.

The three-day forum includes activities such as technical seminars, a fashion show and product showcase, where visitors may experience the business potential of digital printing from multiple perspectives.

ShanghaiTex is also cooperating with Shanghai University of Engineering Science and hold a textile design contest.

Utilising the latest digital printing technology, young designers’ conception and ideas will be actualized and young designers will also be able to experience power of the most advanced digital printing technology.
