The new addition is designed to boost CS Labels’ capacity by a third and is set to play a part in expanding the firm. It is targeting year-on-year growth of 25% and pushing turnover up to £4m.
CS Labels managing director Simon Smith said: “We have noticed a real growth in demand for longer digital print runs, culminating with an order for 50,000 linear meters at the end of last year. Our higher end clients are up to date with what is possible and our expanded production capacity will give them even more confidence. Quite simply, the Xeikon Cheetah will enable us to cope with increased demand while continuing to deliver jobs quickly and accurately.”
The Xeikon Cheetah prints at speeds of 30 metres per minute and is 56% faster than other presses in the Xeikon portfolio. CS Labels has worked with Xeikon for nearly a decade.
