The Honda Jazz Vibe Expands The Company's Popular City-Car Range

Honda Jazz Vibe: Japan-Sourced Special Editions Return

The Honda Jazz Vibe has returned to Australia for a limited time, expanding the company’s popular city-car range with two well-equipped and high-value variants.

Honda Australia director Stephen Collins explained the Japan-sourced Jazz Vibe and Vibe-S models would be available across the country until April as a measure of “strengthening our commitment to offer exceptional value for money”.

Based on the entry-level 73kW/127Nm 1.3-litre Honda Jazz GLi, the Jazz Vibe adds 15-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, cruise control, climate control, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, power retracting door mirrors, and a leather bound gear knob and steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Honda says the extra features total around $1800 worth of value for the limited edition model that costs $1000 more than the standard Jazz GLi. The five-speed manual Jazz Vibe costs from $15,990 while the optional five-speed auto adds $2000.

For an extra $2750, the auto-only 88kW/145Nm 1.5-litre $20,740 Honda Jazz Vibe-S adds 16-inch alloys, sports cloth trim and side mirror-mounted indicators.

The Honda Jazz Vibe and Vibe-S models are available in Crystal Black, Alabaster Silver, Polished Metal, Azure Blue, Taffeta White, Milano Red and Fresh Lime Green.

Honda Australia offered the Japanese Jazz Vibe for a limited time early last year as a measure to combat limited stock availability from the regular Jazz’s Thailand production plant following the 2011 floods.

2013 Honda Jazz Vibe manufacturer’s list prices:
