Digital Lumens Launches Mobile Application for Lighting Control

Digital Lumens, the market leader in intelligent LED lighting systems, today unveiled LightRules® Mobile, giving users a simple and convenient way to control and manage lighting settings from their mobile device or tablet.

With a simple, intuitive interface, LightRules Mobile lets users make quick adjustments to lighting settings in a broad range of applications. From manufacturing and sporting facilities, to warehouses and convention centers, staff can quickly change lighting from their phone or tablet. In addition, the app enables customers to save significant deployment costs by eliminating the need to install multiple wall switches and keypads.

“In response to our customers’ requests for a fast and easy way to manage lighting across large facilities, LightRules Mobile provides the power to make changes anytime and from anywhere,” said Jason Hanna, Digital Lumens’ Director of Software Products. “The app lets users immediately respond to changes in the environment – unscheduled events, emergencies, or a simple time change in an event or activity – without having to find a workstation or return to their offices. ”

“LightRules has been terrific in managing our production area lighting system behavior in our original Boston brewery and is now the brains controlling our retail taproom, production floor and cold storage space lighting in our new facility,” said JC Tetreault, Co-founder of Trillium Brewing Company, a New England farmhouse-style brewery based in Boston, MA. “The mobile app means that we don’t have to run back to an office computer to make quick changes to lighting...huge convenience upgrade.”

LightRules Mobile works with the iPhone, iPad and iTouch running iOS8 or later. Support for Android devices will follow.
