Feldmuehle is set to exhibit new solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board at this year’s CosmeticBusiness trade fair in Germany.
The event will take place between 21 and 22 June in Munich.
Feldmuehle has developed the new matt and high-white SBS board, VivaCard, for modern packaging of perfumes and cosmetic products.
The graphical SBS board provides better surface for enhanced printing results. It helps to create ideal conditions for applying finishes ranging from hot foil, cold foil and blind stamping to matt and gloss varnishes.
VivaCard will also help to create shiny, metallic or holographic special effects.
Produced by using virgin fibre, VivaCard is suitable for making folding boxes. It can also be used in other applications such as bags, covers and folders.
With a wide range of grammages ranging from 220 to 410 g/m², VivaCard is provided with coating on either one or two sides.
In March, Feldmuehle unveiled mineral oil barrier papers, which can be used in packaged goods, especially foodstuffs to protect against mineral oil migration and contamination.
MOB-Liner is a virgin fibre barrier coated paper and it particularly suits in inner bags in folding boxes and multiwall bags as long with lamination of corrugated boards.
The MOB-Flex is also a virgin fibre barrier coated paper and offers an effective mineral oil barrier with white, glossy surface.
The company claims that the two new papers can be run optimally in packaging lines, while offering trouble-free adhesion with hot and cold glues.
