Leading RFID label maker Tageos announced the launch of a new item level apparel label set to cut retailers’ RFID budget while delivering improved tag performance.

Equipped with the next generation NXP Ucode 7 chip, the lower cost Tageos EOS-400 tag has a small 70mm x 17mm form factor that matches the size of RFID tags in retail apparel.

“Thanks to our next generation design and manufacturing process, our EOS-400 tag really does answer retailers’ needs for high performing apparel tags with reduced costs,” underlines Matthieu Picon, co-founder and CEO of Tageos.

Made of paper - with no plastic inlay - our ready to use EOS-400 tag is inherently lower cost. And with a smarter antenna design, the EOS-400 comfortably matches the performance required for apparel tagging. The EOS-400 is the perfect solution for high volume apparel RFID tagging and labeling needs.

Designed specifically for the apparel industry, the Tageos EOS-400 joins our EOS-300 and EOS-200 labels which are now available with the Ucode 7 chip. With the EOS-400, EOS-300 and EOS-200 tags Tageos offers a complete high performance product family for retailers’ needs, offering different form factors adapted for tagging a variety of apparel items.

EOS-400 apparel label certified by University of Arkansas

“We are proud of the certification from the University of Arkansas for our EOS-400 apparel label. Tried and tested in real retail conditions, the industry knows it can trust labels certified by the University of Arkansas.
