SBGS will produce bottles of one of Moocco's biggest water brands Ciel using Sacmi's monoblock filler unit 12-12-4 ALF.

The monoblock unit integrates rinser, filler and capper functions and permits the complete automation of the bottling line.

It will also guarantee maximum operational flexibility, reliability and precision, and a totally hygienic process, Sacmi said.

Capable of changing bottle format, the system can handle various other formats depending on specific production and market requirements. It is currently set up handle 5-litre PET bottles for SBGS.

The design of monoblock unit allows it to handle even larger format bottles easily such as containers up to 282mm with a neck of 38mm.

The special ultra-clean filter facilitates the rapidity and efficiency of the sanitization system by directing a totally sterile laminar flow of air through the unit.

Intelligent load cells guarantee the continuous, accurate control of each bottle’s weight, with all electronic components placed beneath the filler to ensure they may be accessed and cleaned when required.

Additional features of the integrated, compact unit include a rinsing tower, which operates in line with the Sacmi-developed capper to handle all types of cap including flat caps and sport caps, as well as aluminium screwcaps, crowncaps and snapcaps.
