AT&T to Join Forces with The Nature Conservancy in a Bid to Encourage Customer to Skip Bag

Telecommunications company AT&T will join forces with The Nature Conservancy in a bid to encourage its customers to skip the   when purchasing items from its retail stores in Alaska.

With its Skip the Bag campaign, which runs through 31 January 2014, AT&T aims to empower its customers with sustainable choices, increase efficiency and minimize impact on the environment.

The Skip the Bag campaign is in support of the conservation organization's efforts to protect and restore the lands and waters.

AT&T Alaska president Bob Bass said the initiative joins the company's other environmentally focused retail efforts.

"As we work to make our own operations at AT&T more sustainable, we also want to empower our customers to live more sustainably," Bass added.

Throughout the duration of this campaign, customers will have the opportunity to donate additional funds to The Nature Conservancy at AT&T stores in the region.

The Nature Conservancy is a conservation organization in the US working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.
