Japanese Air Purifiers Sales Surge

Japanese air purifiers sales surge due to increasing awareness of health and environmental issues. Panasonic's manufacturing plant in Shandong Province has increased its production and Sharp unviels ionizer for newly-built houses. Japanese brands are trying to expand air purifiers sales in China and to develop new markets.

According to Japanese media, Panasonice has introduced up to 16 kinds of air purifiers to China, some of which contain the new function of showing the air condition. Besides, Panasonic has expanded online business scope. Due to the increasing demand, Panasonic air purifiers sales has multiplied.

Japanese media said that about 1 million air purifiers are sold in China annually. Philips Netherlands from ranks first and Panasonic second and Sharp 4th. Japansese makers, included Dakin, take 40% of Chinese market.
