Nestlé hospitality chocolate range changes name and expands to include couverture range

Food manufacturer Nestlé Professional’s chocolate range designed for use by chefs in cafes, restaurants and other foodservice outlets, has undergone a make-over which includes a move to a new brand name and inclusion of a new couverture range in Australia.

From September 2014, Nestlé Professional chocolate will appear under the Nestlé Docello name and in “revamped” packaging that the Company said “better reflects the bold direction the product range is taking”.

Four new couverture varieties have also been unveiled, boosting the existing compound chocolate range. Made using cocoa butter and specially tailored for use in desserts and cakes, the new range includes two dark chocolate products called Ultima 70 per cent and Royal, and milk and white chocolate products called Gold and Arctic. All of the couverture products will be available in 5 kg packs comprising 2 x 2.5 kg bags. The entire range will come in kibble form, with the exception of Arctic which is available as buttons.

The existing compound range, which comprises two dark, one milk and one white chocolate product, will remain unchanged, except for the new look packaging and Nestlé Docello name.

The Company said the inclusion of the chocolate range under the Nestlé Docello brand would “further strengthen Nestlé Professional’s position as a leader in the provision of dessert solutions for the hospitality industry”.
