BorgWarner Launches New Packaging for Wahler Products

BorgWarner, a company involved in the sale of products in the aftermarket business, is now offering its Wahler-branded products in a new white and blue box design.

The new packaging has been introduced as part of the company’s integration of the former Gustav Wahler and to reinforce BorgWarner’s reputation as a strong and reliable aftermarket partner.

By featuring a prominent blue BorgWarner logo on the new, aesthetic design, the company has taken steps to retain its identity in the global aftermarket packaging to transport, store and present its innovative, OE-quality aftermarket technologies.

BorgWarner, one of the global leaders in clean and efficient technology solutions for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles, has manufacturing and technical facilities in 62 locations in 17 countries.

The BorgWarner aftermarket parts are available for a wide range of vehicles and offer high performance, quality and reliability offered by OE products.

BorgWarner Turbo Systems Global Aftermarket vice-president and general manager Michael Boe said: “We are pleased to announce the launch of our new BorgWarner aftermarket box design. Changing the Wahler packaging from red to white and blue will help us reassure customers of the aftermarket parts’ authenticity and proven quality.

“The new packaging will also help strengthen the BorgWarner brand in the aftermarket and increase our reputation as a strong and reliable partner in this segment.”

In 2014, BorgWarner had acquired Gustav Wahler, a producer of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves and tubes as well as engine thermostats for both on- and off-road applications.

Wahler products are used by automotive manufacturers from around the world.
