Tin Man Brewing has selected 16 oz. cans from global beverage can maker Rexam to offer four of its core beer varieties.
The four craft beers that are now available in Rexam cans are: Circuit Bohemian Pilsner, Alloy American Pale Ale, River Irish Red Ale and Overlord Imperial IPA.
The Indiana based micro brewery prefers to use cans for packaging, as aluminium has the ability to block light and oxygen which results in better preservation. The light-weight cans also costs less during shipping.
Being durable and portable, they can be easily distributed at events and carried around.
Besides, it facilitates sustainable packaging and can be recycled to be reused as retail packaging within 60 days.
Tin Man Brewing president Nick Davidson said: "We feel strongly that aluminum cans are the best choice for our unique craft beers, offering significant advantages for us and our consumers."
The beer varieties from Tin Man Brewing are however available only at select retailers in Indiana and Kentucky, for now.
