GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Want to spend a day visiting design destinations in New York with designer and TV personality Libby Langdon? There's a raffle for that.

WithIt, the women's leadership development organization that also hosts its own New York Design Tour, is offering the Designer for a Day raffle, with the support of sponsors Libby Interiors, Norwalk Furniture and Furniture World magazine.

Tickets are $20 or six for $100 and will be sold at certain events and showrooms during the High Point Market, Oct. 13-18. Tickets also can be purchased at WithIt.org through Nov. 28, and will be sold during Showtime, High Point's semiannual fabric fair, Dec. 2-5. The winner will be announced on Dec. 5, and does not need to be present to win.

The winner will receive round-trip airfare, lodging in New York and a private day of design excursions led by Langdon. The daylong adventure will include trend-focused design center tours, store visits, lunch at La Masseria, an Italian restaurant designed by Langdon, and more.

"This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves great design and NYC fun," said Landgon, an interior and product designer, author, and makeover television personality who has appeared on TV shows such as NBC's "Open House," "The Rachael Ray Show" and HGTV's "Small Space, Big Style."

"A design student would benefit from this day of learning, and so would a designer looking to expand his or her business. Also, a manufacturer or retail professional would enjoy the opportunity to experience firsthand insights about consumers through the eyes of a busy interior designer," she said.

Proceeds from the Designer for a Day raffle will benefit WithIt's educational initiatives. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.WithIt.org.
