Only this week left before we close the Transport and Warehouse Management Survey, which is reporting strong support for the local vendors of transport and warehousing services.
Of those who have already been surveyed, 79% do not rate being a global supplier as being important when it comes to selecting a transport provider.
Similarly, 67% hold the same sentiments with selecting a warehouse management supplier. When it comes to planning and management, however, the majority much prefer to do it themselves, with 60% preferring to do their own inventory management and 49% preferring to do their own transport planning and management.
