Sulzer Pumps has acquired Tartek Oy, a family-owned mechanical seal manufacturer based in Rauma, Finland.
Established in 1978, Tartek specialises in the development, manufacture, repair and maintenance of mechanical seals for the pulp and paper, power, water, general and chemical process industries.
In acquiring Tartek, Sulzer Pumps will now be able to provide in-house designed and manufactured seals for its configured process and wastewater pumps.
