Park City, Utah — LG Electronics used its Music Lodge showcase at the Sundance Film Festival last Sunday to create a VIP lounge enabling special guests to watch the NFL conference championship games on LG's 100-inch laser TV.

The 100-inch Laser TV projector is LG's FullHD short-throw projector with laser lighting system.

In addition to showing playoff coverage on Sunday, the LG Music Lodge hosted performances throughout the festival by various artists who used the laser projector as a backdrop display for music videos.

In its 10 years at Sundance, the Music Lodge has become an outlet for celebrities and music fans to hang out by the fireplace or step onto the stage for an impromptu performance.

The Laser TV outputs 150 nits of brightness, optimized for both light and dark environments. A six-layered custom screen is configured to deflect ambient light and help produce better picture quality.

The projector ($8,999 suggested retail) requires 22 inches between the light source and the screen to display a widescreen HDTV image of more than 8 feet. The laser can be positioned near the floor or ceiling. A custom stand is available to position the projector at the perfect height.

It's currently available.
