Lift chair resource Mega Motion is teaming with bedding major Serta for a new line of Serta-branded lift chairs that will be unveiled at next month's High Point Market.
Called the Serta Comfort Lift Chair, the three-model lineup features Serta's Cool Action gel memory foam in the seat and arm cushions, as well as an individually wrapped coil spring seating system and Pirelli webbing that forms to consumers' backs.
The new models will retail for about $999 to $1,299, which is at the upper end of Mega Motion's power lift chair offerings.
"We are committed to delivering comfort and convenience to the lives of our customers, and we are pleased to partner with Serta and bring their superior level of comfort to the power recline/lift chair market," said Dennis Valkanoff, director of new business development, retail sales, for Pride Mobility, Mega Motion's parent company.
He said Serta Comfort Lift Chairs feature new performance fabric covers developed by Global Textile Alliance. The chairs also are available with Crypton Super Fabric covers on a special order basis.
Valkanoff said Pride Mobility has been successful with a Serta-branded chair called Serta Perfect Lift that was introduced to the medical market last spring, and he believes the Mega Motion products will be just as popular.
The Serta Comfort Lift will be shown in Mega Motion's showroom in Plaza Suites, space 413, at the Oct. 19-24 market.
