New Zealand Will Build The Third LTE Network with The Help of Huawei

Foreign media said that New Zealand will build the third LTE network in 2014 after Zelanian carrier 2Degrees declared getting bank loans worth NZD 165 million.

2Degrees is one more local carrier to launch 4G networks in the nation after Vodafone New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand.

2Degrees acting CEO revealed that Huawei Technologies will continue acting as its exclusive network equipment supplier. The bank loans will be used for repaying borrowings from Huawei Technologies gotten in 2011 and building 4G networks.

Huawei New Zealand CEO Arthur Zhang pointed out that the partnership with 2Degrees is the first cooperation formed by Chinese network equipment suppliers in New Zealand.
