Arcelormittal SA Expected That Its Shipments of Steel Long Products Would Be Increased

It's reported that ArcelorMittal South America expected that its shipments of steel long products would increase by 5%~6% in 2013, in comparison of 5.3 million tons in 2012. Augusto Espechit de Almeida, ArcelorMittal's president of long steel South America said that the growth is driven as the domestic prices are affected by the Chinese and Turkish steel. He added that Turkey's rebar shipments made to Latin America soared by a double-digit percentage in 2013 from 2011.
