This week, most of northern and central Taiwan's rebar mills have announced to keep their rebar offer price flat for this week.
However, in order to get more orders, some of southern Taiwan's rebar mills have already cut their new offer price by NT$100/ton to NT$17,300/ton and some other southern Taiwan's mills have not yet decided their new price due to the slow market demand.
Also, it is said the scrap collection price in southern Taiwan has also decreased; one of southern Taiwan's mill has reduce their scrap collection price by NT$200/ton in last week.
