Toyota Australia has introduced an extensive range of Toyota Genuine Accessories to add another level of convenience, practicality and style to the popular Toyota Corolla sedan.
Toyota Australia division manager national parts and accessories James Scott said that Toyota Genuine Accessories are designed to integrate with all design elements of the vehicle to ensure safety and maximise performance and longevity.
"The new Corolla sedan has been well received by the Australian motoring media for its style, high levels of standard equipment and for being fun to drive, and the range of accessories available for the car cater for individual tastes and requirements," Mr Scott said.
Added illumination for the cabin and exterior can add a new degree of style, safety and convenience.
Toyota has developed new Scuff Plate Illumination and Interior Illumination in the footwell, which switches on when the car's doors are open.
For the exterior, LED Daytime Running Lamps can be added to the fog light surrounds# for better visibility.
"The new Toyota Genuine illumination products can help make the Corolla safer and easier to get in and out of at night, and they make it look pretty special too," Mr Scott said.
Front Corner ParkAssist* helps the driver judge how close they are to objects at the front corners of the car when parking in tight spaces.
The system uses colour-coded ultrasonic sensors on the bumpers matched with a concealed alarm in the cabin to warn the driver of the vehicle's proximity to obstructions.
Toyota Genuine Roof Racks are specifically designed for Corolla's roof shape to ensure optimum load distribution and maximum contact area across the roof.
They feature an aerodynamic design with black anodised coating for corrosion resistance and are engineered to carry a maximum capacity of 75kg.
The racks are compatible with Toyota Genuine Roof Rack Accessories, including Toyota Genuine Deluxe Ski and Snowboard Carrier, Kayak Carrier and Pro-ride Bike Carriers.
A number of Toyota Genuine Accessories are available to help protect the interior and exterior of Corolla sedan from wear and tear.
Corolla-branded Toyota Genuine Carpet Floor Mats help protect Corolla's floor, the durable polyethylene Toyota Genuine Bootliner protects the boot floor from minor spills and cargo damage, and the high strength acrylic Toyota Genuine Bonnet Protector and Headlamp Covers help guard against damage sustained while driving.
A Rear Scuff Guard made from durable neoprene helps protect the rear bumper paintwork from accidental scratches when loading or unloading the boot, while Toyota Genuine Mudflaps can help minimise paint damage.
