Hydrocarbon Soil Remediation Project Reclaims Site

Reterro, Inc., an emerging green remediation leader in eliminating hydrocarbon contamination from ongoing waste streams and soil, has successfully completed its first hydrocarbon soil remediation project on behalf of a U.S. Fortune 5 company.

Located on the U.S. west coast, the one-acre site, which had been contaminated by gasoline and diesel fuel, constituted a former bulk terminal bordered by light industrial buildings and a residential neighborhood. The project was completed on time and on budget, with results exceeding the mandated cleanup levels.

Quick, Cost-Effective Methodology

The project included deployment of the company's proprietary methodology, The Reterro Principle?, small on-site footprint, flameless process that delivers immediate certainty in safe waste-stream and soil remediation.?In a process that is often completed in hours, the methodology constitutes a quick, cost-effective, clean and compliant route to preventing ongoing contamination and unlocking value in previously unusable contaminated sites.

Ten years in development, the Reterro Principle uses unique thermal and hydraulic methods to volatize contaminants that are then extracted for treatment or capture in attached off-gas modules, with zero emission of dangerous gases and no flames. The latest generation thermal-electric, low pressure platform extracts hydrocarbon contaminations speedily and cost effectively. Onboard metrology and third?party lab testing assure 100% cleanup, and the system safety met the Fortune 5 company's stringent safety requirements.

"Reterro is proud to work with one of the world's largest corporations to bring 100% environmental certainty to this contaminated site," said Reterro CEO Ferdinand Seemann.
