TGE Announced The Launch of a New Solar Monitoring Package

TGE Group has announced the launch of a new solar monitoring package which will enable customers to get the most out of their solar PV installation.

As one of the UK's leading solar PV specialists, TGE Group's new service will ensure systems continue to deliver output as forecast and don't fall short of expectations.

The package includes a number of measures to maintain optimum performance of equipment including the non-chemical cleaning of panels using purified water, which is particularly useful for large scale systems located on high or difficult to access roofs.  In addition, customers will be able to benefit from thermal imaging equipment which checks panels are working properly, as well as specialist apparatus which can easily remove and replace any underperforming or damaged panels.

With solar PV systems, even a small drop in performance levels can have a significant effect of investment.  With real-time output displays, performance reports and system alarms alerting to output drop or component failures all available, any loss in performance can be quickly identified and rectified.

Rupert Higgin, Managing Director at TGE Group, comments: "The new service adds another string to TGE's bow and means that we can offer customers the whole package, guaranteeing systems continue to deliver as forecast.  Particularly for large scale installations, after sales support including general maintenance and monitoring are key to safeguarding the investment and prolonging the life and efficiency of the TGE Group, formerly known as The Green Electrician, was established as a specialist solar PV installer in 2007 providing systems for clients in the domestic, commercial, agricultural and public sectors.  The company has since expanded its portfolio of products to include other renewable energy technologies such as wind, biomass and heat pumps to help customers reduce energy costs.  The broad range of products also compliments their existing energy management and distribution services.
