Taiwanese GMTC Said That Q4 Sales Will Be Rebounded

Gloria Material Technology Corporation (GMTC), the first specialty steel manufacturer in Taiwan said that its third-quarter sales revenues dropped by 2% from a quarter ago to NT$2.75 billion due to falling nickel prices and shortage of raw material caused by equipment damage. However, market participants predicted that GMTC's sales revenues could rise by 3% quarter on quarter to NT$2.8 billion in the fourth quarter as its equipment has restarted the operation. Also, the company's sales profit rate should rise to 12.5% in the fourth quarter. GMTC's general manager said they will have two new Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) steel production line to join its operation and it will help them to have better sales in 2014.
