The regulation, published by China's quality control authority, stipulates responsibilities on the part of sellers for the repair, replacement and refund of private cars manufactured and sold in China comes in January, 2013.
However, car drivers worry that car manufacturers and car sellers would shift responsibilities when they want to repair, replacement and refund their cars. Thus, identification of defects becomes extremely important to this new regulation.
Car industry insiders and consumers have't been optimistic about new regulation's future.
