American Department of Commerce Announces Chinese Import Tyres Have a Subsidy

American department of commerce announced the preliminary results on Nov.24, it would levy countervailing duties for this kind of product by confirming the imports of Chinese tyres have a subsidy.

As a "state on the tyre",the United States always maintains a high demand of tyre. In spite of the higher taxes on Chinese tires in 2011,China is still one of the five biggest importer of American passenger tire.

This is the second time the United States set up trade barriers against Chinese tyres after taking expiry of the safeguard measures on Chinese cars and light truck tires in 2009, Chinese tire enterprises should vigorously maintain their own interests this time.

Facing the situation of the sharply change of domestic and international economic environment,some tire enterprises would be eliminated for their unable to adapt the new situation. Innovation and enterprise can be weathering the crisis only to grasp the opportunity to change transformation and upgrading.
